Registration Process


  • Registration

    Register yourself by filling out our registration form and submit a ID proof and an Address proof. Yes, Registration is FREE, however, we need you to come in person to our office to activate your registration.

  • Verification

    LensOwl will verify your credentials in 2-3 working days and if all credentials are valid, we will proceed with your registration.

  • Confirmation

    On Registration, a Customer ID will be allotted and the same would be communicated to you by email.

RESIDENT

I'm a permanent resident of Bangalore. I own a house or stay in a rented house.
  • Recent Passport Size Photo (1 No.)

Provide any two of the below Identity Proof.

  • Aadhaar card or
  • PAN Card or
  • Passport

Provide any of the following proof of residential address

  • Latest Electricity Bill
  • Latest Landline Bill

WORKING HERE

My residence is not in Bangalore, but I work here.
  • Recent Passport Size Photo (1 No.)

Provide any two of the below Identity Proof.

  • Aadhaar card or
  • Passport or
  • PAN card or
  • Company ID Card

Provide any two of the following proof of residential address

  • Rental/Lease Agreement
  • Letter from Company HR
  • Recent Bank Statement
  • Telephone/Broadband Bill
  • Electricity Bill

STUDENTS

I reside and study here and I live with my parents
  • Recent Passport Size Photo (1 No.)

Provide any two of the below Identity Proof.

  • College ID Card or
  • Aadhaar card or
  • Passport or

Provide the following proofs of your parent.

  • Aadhaar Card or
  • PAN Card or
  • Passport or
  • Recent Bank Statement or
  • Latest Electricity Bill or
  • Latest Landline Bill or

Alternately, you can do the registration in your Parent’s name.

NON-RESIDENTS

I'm living in another state/visiting on assignments or on a vacation

Frequently Asked Questions



We accept Cash, NEFT/IMPS/RTGS transfers, Online Credit Card payments and On-premise credit card payment. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards and all debit cards.
Subject to availability, we can provide same day rental. You can pickup in the morning at 10 am and return before 6.30 pm. If the equipment is not returned on the same day then we will charge additional half-day rental for drop-off on the next day.
Our standard pickup timing is between 4-6.30pm on the previous day of the rental start date. Drop-off timing is between 10-11am on the subsequent day of the rental end date. Please note that early pickup or late charges will apply for any advanced pickup and delayed drop-off instances.
You can make a forward reservation for any date. We will happy to block the equipment for you. However, to make a confirmed booking, we would request you to make 50% of the amount as an advance. Bookings/reservations made without payment will be treated as tentative and will be subject to cancellation with prior intimation, if we receive another confirmed booking for the same dates.
Yes. We provide delivery and pick up service for photography gear that you hire from us. However, please note that this service becomes available to after the first rental. Once you register with us, for the first instance, you need to visit our office personally to pickup, thereafter, you can avail hassle free delivery and pick up service to get the gear delivered at your doorsteps.
Gear hire can be extended subject to availability of such gear for the dates you intend to extend. If said gear is booked by others for the dates you intend to extend, the same need to be returned as per the booking made.
No. We do not seek any Security Deposit. However, you would to go through the registration process and we will verify the authenticity of the information and the documents you have submitted.
Since we are providing this service without taking an Security Deposit, we would want to ensure that we collect as many credentials as possible to ensure the customer's authenticity to ensure our business interests. You can be rest assured that your KYC documents or it's information will be securely kept and at no point it will be shared with any third party, unless mandated by law.
Based on our evaluation and the nature of the damage, appropriate charges will be recovered. If the damage is extensive, then we send it to the Authorised Service Centre and as per the estimate provided by them, we will recover the amount from you.
Rental charges appear high, however, you save upto 24% when you hire at Kabini as compared to hiring from the city as you pay extra for transit days.
