  • Rates mentioned are per day rates and are inclusive of taxes. For all equipment that are labeled “Advance notice required”, the minimum rental period is 2 days and an advance notice of 2 days is required to make the camera or lens available for you. All equipment is subject to availability.
  • Please note, the Forest department levies camera charges. Current charges are; Camera with lens below 200mm is Rs. 200 per safari. Camera with lens above 200mm is Rs. 500 per safari. These charges are payable to your respective resort directly. We do not collect these charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gear hire can be extended subject to availability of such gear for the dates you intend to extend. If said gear is booked by others for the dates you intend to extend, the same need to be returned as per the booking made.
No. We do not seek any Security Deposit. However, you would to go through the registration process and we will verify the authenticity of the information and the documents you have submitted.
Since we are providing this service without taking an Security Deposit, we would want to ensure that we collect as many credentials as possible to ensure the customer's authenticity to ensure our business interests. You can be rest assured that your KYC documents or it's information will be securely kept and at no point it will be shared with any third party, unless mandated by law.
Based on our evaluation and the nature of the damage, appropriate charges will be recovered. If the damage is extensive, then we send it to the Authorised Service Centre and as per the estimate provided by them, we will recover the amount from you.
Rental charges appear high, however, you save upto 24% when you hire at Kabini as compared to hiring from the city as you pay extra for transit days.
You can write to us in advance on your requirements. We will evaluate your requirement and if it's feasible for us to provide the same in Kabini for you, we will make arrangements for the same.
We rent the gear on per day basis and not on per safari basis. Even if you want to rent it for one safari, you will be charged for 1 full day.
You can complete the registration formalities with the LensOwl Staff and submit the ID, Address Proof and your service voucher for the resort. We will complete the registration and verification process and let you hire the photography gear.
